Difference in Mass between a LWB Pickup and LWB Van?

Hi,
I’ve just brought another landrover a LWB pickup this time, it is not running currently so I have to transport it to get it home. The transporter hire I got a quote off said their vehicle has a limit of 1.25T, the web says the series 3 LWB weighs 1.5T. But is this for the van or pickup assuming their slightly different?

You'd better get a bigger truck, pick up is only very slightly less but not 250 kilo's less.

Don't be a scrooge and pay a bit extra for the truck with bigger capacity or trailer with a decent tow motor.
