Diff Replaced

A replacement ( not new) diff has been fitted to my 2003 TD4.

I now get a whinning noise, which gets louder at higher speed, along with a droaning, pulsating, noise.

Any thoughts? Dodgy diff? VCU?

Didn't get these noises before - although this is better than the stench of diff oil I was getting.

poss bearings???

I fitted a brand new diff to mine and it wines at 70mph...

If you suspect the vcu for any reason, then test it.
