Hi all I have a Disco 300 TDi manual & I have a problem with the warning light on the dash for the diff lock as in it doesn't illuminate I have had the centre console out & removed the cover from the top of the gear lever linkage & the diff lock lever moves freely but I greased it up just to make sure, I checked the wiring there is no power coming down to the switch, is this right or not. I'm assuming the switch is just a switched earth for the warning light so earthed out the black/blue tracer wire but still no light on the dash the other wire a black one goes to earth I have checked the continuity of it & it's fine, anyway is there a fuse for this warning light or could it be as simple as a blown bulb, I should say that all other warning lights on the das are working fine.
