2004 TD4 Facelift
Just back from a 600 mile round trip to Kent. 39mpg (on Shell V-Power nitro) and running as smooth as it ever has
Got up this morning to find a wet patch of diesel under the rear o/s wheel arch with drips about every 10 secs adding to the mess once the engine was started
After a bit of investigation, and the help of a friendly local mechanic, we found that the fuel filter has an area about 3/4 way down and the size of a 5p, with tiny pepper holes in it. (Mahle branded) It was only changed about 12 months ago (Driven 16000 miles since) Was a bit tight to remove, but I'm just glad it wasn't the pump!
