Got an odd one on our FL2. Its a 2009 Manual Diesel, looks very much like a French PSA group engine.
Noticing a smell of diesel thats been getting stronger over the weekend. Quick look around & nothing obvious until i took the top cover off. Diesel all round the injecteors..Get as much out as possible then start the motor & watch. No drips or sprays of fuel but fuel coming up the side of Inj3. Strange thing is there are no bubbles indicating a blown inj seal. Injector cracked? leak through one of the inj joints? No idea as yet, gonna pull it out & see what the story is.
Anyone had this before? New one on me!

It unusual for the injectors to leak through the body.

Yes it's a PSA engine, the DW12.

The leak off/ pre-charge pipes come off by lifting the green top lock, then pull up on the black section below, at least that's how I remember them working.

They need to seal tight, as there's 10 bar of pressure in those pipe. I've seen the O ring seal for those connectors leaking a couple of times.

Just as a side note, how do you get these damned leak off pipes off?
To remove the leak off hoses, you need a small to medium screwdriver. and you insert it into the side of the cap.

Then pull upwards or twist it up if i remember right, but Nodge might be right.

Alrightee!
Figured out how these damned leak off connectors come off, who ever dreams up these things?..
Found an o ring leaking on the leakoff, replaced it & all seems well. Swapped the fuel filter bwhile i was in the area & aint they a pain to bleed!
Thanks for all your help one & all, much appreciated.

Excellent you solved the leak.
Just a heads up on the filter. If it's not a genuine or OE, then they can cause loss of power in hot weather.
The genuine and OE are marked purflex, which will be fine. Most other non OE filters cause hot running issues.
