Dico still keeps stopping

Does anyone know how to test the O2 sensors on a 3.9 V8?
Will my car run without O2 sensors?
Running cold my car is fine when it warms up it missfires, if I stop it will stall ( auto box )
Changed the plugs, leads, rotor, coil, dis cap, Every week I have to take out the plugs and clean them, black carbon, to much fuel?!
At present I am working in a small town in Sicily, no access to a mechanic!

If you want to run your engine open loop,you need to change the tune resistor in the engine loom,it is plugged in less than 12 inches away from the main Ecu plug.They are colour coded,cant remember what colour you need - you will also need to set the mixture via the screw on the air flow meter.
The different value of the tune resistor will stop the ecu looking for the switching outputs of the oxygen sensors.
