As many of you probably know, I have Faultmate MSV2 Extreme for the P38.

With the L322 inbound and keeping the P38 i contacted BBS to add the L322 to my licence on the Fautmate.

£675 !

So this leads me to ask what diagnostics are others using for the L322 ?

It depends on what year the l322 is, I believe up to 2005 Allcoms after that icarsoft lr or the Gap id11 but others will know more.

iCarsoft LR2 is very good for the money, but is only a fault code reader, clearer and live data....it won't change any settings.

All Comms is only up to 2005.

Gap Diagnostics IIDTool is very well received and in high regard.

You can get a Nanocom for the later L322's.

Lynx - mixed reports

Hawkeye - not bad but won't do suspension calibration.

From the same legend that is Storey Wilson who made the All Comms - he does one called the ScanD4 or something like that - that may do the later L322's (don't be discouraged by the name - I think it was developed initially for the D4, but he broadened the vehicle list for it I think)

I have an iCarsoft I930 sitting in the garage. Originally bought to read & reset codes on a mates 2003 L322. It also works ok on wife's freelander, which is why I kept it. Available for a look & test in Langley, Slough !! (potentially could be borrowed by nearby forum peeps)

BBS are now doing Android based diagnostics that will run on a phone or tablet I believe. Can't check what it covers as my computer is too old to access the BBS site now.

I have an ebay copy SDD for my jag s type and according to the bumph, it's supposed to do the L322. Wasn't expensive but can't remember exactly how much it was.
Works OK but not as intuitive as nanocom.
If anyone has an L322 in Lancashire, I'd be happy to test it for them to see what it can do.

Foxwell NT510, instructions are poor but has options for sls calibration, key coding, injector coding etc
