Hi so im away to start ordering stuff for my p38 ready to get on with when I get home looking for brand/makers advice on the following,
Air compressor,
Air springs,
Height sensors,
Shocks,
In tank fuel pump,
Glow plugs,
Water pump,
Thermostat,

Also does anyone know the meters and diameters needed to replace all the lines from valve block to airsprings and tank ect,

Gearbox oil and filter?
Transfer box oil?

Any other suggestions before I get it ready to road?

Id like to have it quite hassle free as much as possible while my others off the road

Not sure about piping but the gearbox oil is dexron 3 and so is the transfer box.
👍

Compressor is an easy overhaul job.
Why would you replace all the air lines? They rarely fail.
Air springs, Arnott Gen II if you have the cash.
Height sensors are replace when they fail IMO as a lot of the new ones seem to be poor.
Shocks OEM every time.
Glow plugs Beru, Delphi or NGK.
If you replace the water pump, get one with a metal impeller.
Thermostat must have a bleed hole and be checked before fitting as a lot are faulty.
Gearbox and Transfer box are DEXIII ATF I don't recommend the Brit part filters.
While you have the sump off the gearbox, follow the advice of Henry b and check all the valve block bolts are tight.
Change the diff oils and check/grease the UJ's.
Check the brake pipes where they pass over the axle, the bend on the drivers side at the rear of the fuel tank is prone to corrosion.
Might be worth changing the RAD before it splits as they all do eventually.

Notes all taken, Thank you 😊
Il be changing a pair of diffs anyway so they'll have new oil in, both have a heap of play in the input side i think the coupling in the transfer box is mabye stuck will get a bar on the front wheel and see tomorrow night,
