Hi all, I have been moving on with my old disco project but the body is a real pain - still sat in the garage on axle stands. I really like the idea of a rotisserie and thinking about getting one or making my own - it would be great to weld without getting burning slag falling on me. Also great for doing a really good job. So down to it has anyone made their own any ideas etc?

Are you talking bare body shell or plus chassis or plus that and engine/transmission etc?
Either way that's a lot of weight and awkward shape to tip. But I really can see the appeal.
This type looks relatively simple to construct added to easy storage but again getting it on it's side SAFELY without lifting gear is gonna be risky but then again the same goes with lifting gear.o_O

And you could have fun with this type as well

Personally I prefer the look of the "rollover jigs" that bolt to the hubs, but I would definitely be using some serious props and chocks while I was working under there unlike in most of the pictures in the links above

It would just be for the body. I have removed the body from the chassis and engine and got it propped up on supports but it would be great to be able to move it. Dont think weight would be a huge issue as seem some big american cars on them.
