Defender TD5 Fuel Pump Issue!

Hi all,

Looking for a little advice.
I seem to have an issue with the fuel pump, it started up and drove as normal for about a mile before it conked out. I tried starting again but no fuel pump buzz. Now I tried a priming cycle and nothing happens. I also tried draining some fuel from the filter but made no difference. I plugged Hawkeye in and no faults but when I do a circuit test for the fuel pump I can hear the relay click but no buzz. Now I also notice that if I get a reading on the fuel gauge but when I unplug the pump I get the low fuel lamp illuminated and no reading on the gauge. Before I spend the cash would you say this is a knackered pump? Or any suggestions to look for anything else?

Just tried this but no joy, same outcome on the Hawkeye, can here it clicking but no buzz

if theres a live feed from there to the pump,it must be pump,you can test that at the pump end

Found it!! Was a cable worn through

plug on the pump where it goes over the top of the chassis is where I found my issue
