Hi
Landrover 200tdi
I’ve just replaced the head seal on my injection pump but now I can’t get any fuel to come through. There is fuel going into the pump but taking the injector hose off there is no fuel coming through. I didn’t take the pump off and I did it while still on so the timing should be fine, I’ve cracked the injectors for any air but still no joy, I have released the bleeder on the pump and there is fuel there just nothing past that. Has anyone got any idea on how to get her started?

Thanks

Usually not a problem with a 200tdi, wasn't when I did it anyway. Presumably you just undid the two sections far enough to hook the seal out and slide the new one on.
Fuel bango bolts need to go back on in the same place as they are different.

Yer i did it the same way wondering if there is an air lock somewhere. I only undone one fuel bango so no there not mixed up

I have ordered another but it is clicking but not sure if working dose the black plastic bit normally come apart
easy way to test it is to unscrew it from the injector pump remove the little rubber plunger and the spring and refit the solenoid.
If it then starts you will have to stall it because it will not turn off on the key but you will eliminate the stop solenoid and it's wiring from your tests.
