Hi all,
I have been wanting a Land Rover for many years but never had the cash until now.... I have bought a 1999 TD5 90 so I am very happy indeed, but now I need some advice..
I would like to convert my hardtop in to a CSW but looking at the back of my truck it’s not looking very inviting, as you can see from the attached picture I have very good sound proofing which I would like to keep for obvious reasons but the previous owner used it for carrying oily engines etc so I was thinking about chequered plating to cover the whole lot. Is it possible to attached plating on top of the rubber? Would I need to cut out my own plating or would a kit form still work for me?
If this is a possibility could I then fix bench seats to the plating?
Sorry if this has all been covered before but I am new to the Landy world.
Any help / suggestions would me most appreciated.
Jase
