defender, front windscreen wipers

Good afternoon

I'm having problems with the front windscreen wipers on my 1993 defender 90

It started following heavy snow - i tried the wipers before clearing the snow from the windscreen - DOH!

The wipers moved a little, i then cleared the snow and retried them - they didn't move at all !!!
at first they moved an inch or so but now they don't move at all

any ideas anyone ?????

have to agree with the above suggestion but if thats ok check the cable that runs from the motor and drives the wipers hasn't come off/ broke

Yep, its gotta be the fuse, mine did that last week too, they iced themselves to the screen, new fuse , took seconds.
