A friend and myself went on an open off road day at the Parkwood site in Tong (near Leeds/Bradford) today. I was in my standard 5 door freelander and my friend was in his standard defender.
We went around most of the 100 acre site on the routes that were suggested to us, gradually as the day went on I got more daring in the tracks that I went down much to the supprise of the rest of the off roaders there as I was only one of two freelanders on the open day, and mine was driven to posiably its limits on some of the more difficult standard/mud tyre car red routes.
The icing on the cake for the day was when my friends defender broke down and was towed off site from one of the red routes by my freelander.
All of the defender driving on lookers had large grins  on their faces
Gaylander, my arse :mooning:
