lt only takes one clown with more money than sense to pay £45,000 for an old Defender, and suddenly all the similar old Defenders are "worth £45,000"
Although like classic cars, the very best will always sell for big money.
My local LR specialist sold an absolutely mint 15,000 mile 2.2 XS 110 SW for around £45,000 last month
It had lived in Spain so the chassis was like new. But you'd have to stick it in a barn or you'd lose £15,000 over the first year of use.
