Hi
I need help the props I have bought do not fit
The one prop is a snug fit on the rear and when I fit on the front it has slightly more play ( about 20 mm ) and this one is marked rear
The other which is marked front pops the seal and shows the splines when fitted on front or rear but on rear only just
It has a discovery back axial
I did fit discovery prop to the rear as a temporary measure and this seems to be the same as the one marked front and same problem with the splines
man in shop says they are correct
distance between differentials and box is about 67 cm rear and 65 cm front
any help would be nice
many thanks
mark the spark
PS
I am also working on a discovery 300 with the clutch arm pushed through the ball and its no mean job on your own but I am trained but as an electrician .

measure the distance between each propshaft flange, ring up the peeps yu bought the props from, tell em that the props are incorrect, give them the dimensions ant tell em to supply the correct ones.

simples :D

remember something like this before, turned out to be a disco/defender prop parts combo to fit it if I remember correctly.

You are supposed to pay Accy and Roy, but as they can’t be arsed; and others that have tried, get no reply, I wouldn’t worry too much
ah Ok I understand, they are not interesseted in advertises. Than I do not understand, that some guys here do, its crime to set a link and some LR things they go out over the british island.

Its friend company. but I do not find out how to make advertising here...

I deleted your last post with a note attached telling you why.

If you wish I'll get in touch with accywingy for you if you're serious about sponsoring but whatever anyone else says LZ doesn't allow companies to promote themselves for free.

I've no desire for LZ to become an online version of Landy mags where you have to hunt through the adverts to find an article that itself turns out to be an extended company advert with added blurb.

Ok thats I can understand, I ask my friend from 4WARD4X4 about advertising, please contact accywingy and ask for sponsoring and costs.
But why do not other companys show advertises here?

I know of others that have tried to contact either and never had a reply, so now advertise elsewhere.

That's as maybe but it's still no reason to open the spam floodgates.

As far as I'm concerned product promotion here is worth far more than a few notes. If I had my way we'd have only recommendations from experienced, known and trusted members...but I don't have to worry about paying for this place.

To be honest, BB, it would appear that the owners aren’t worried either.
