as Think i need a new chassis

i built quite a few on new galv chassis and its definately worth it ,you know your building a vehicle that you built that will be around for a long time

90% of the bolts have been cut with the grinder and cutting disk as there was so much rust on them as soon as a socket was applyed it disintegrated. Tommorow i will get the bulkhead off leaving engine and box also the front axle. Back axle has been buffed down and is ready to go back on but someone forgot to order the bushes and spring plates. I will learn :D

P.S. A word of Warning. Never Never!! use a grinder with the garde plate removed. The wheel broke up and went through gloves and cut my middle finger left hand to the bone. Pic to follow. Ouch

Let this be a warning to anyone buying a landy from e-bay in the spur of the moment!!

i woke up one sunday morning with a can of bud in me lap and the new owner of a 200tdi csw 90,

wife went mad, i had no spare cash then or now

£2500 to pay i wernt even into landys

but had got stuck in the mud at glastonberry a few weeks before and remember seeing a guy driving out no probs with his caravan / pikey wagon i sat there for over 4 hours waiting for atow out

Pretty much the same here Gas. Was stuck in the house for two weeks through the bad weather could not get the van out loosing money it was not ideal. Took the plunge and bought the landy from tinternet. Not a good move. Thing was i know the garage that was selling it they have been around for a long time. Still i will pop in one day when he has a buyer in the fourcourt and mouth off. E-bay is ok iv'e had a good few deals from there in the past.
