So - I am deep into the rebuild of my S3 which I bought (for too much money) which is a 3.5 v8 in it.
What started as a camshaft replacement has now escalated to a full strip to chassis and build back up with other period correct parts I have acquired.
At the moment I’m repairing the correct bulkhead (it had a 2a bulkhead when bought). Unfortunately but unsurprisingly there is a lot of rot and I am cutting out a fair bit! Some pictures for you all so far and more to follow….
