Unless you rebuild defenders for a living that's bound to happen

Was just pricing up a richards chassis tonight. At least I know who to come to if there any problems

Just a quick question Allyipod - would you do it all over again??

I'm asking because I've just bought a 1984 90 pick up for a grand, runs ok, needs work doing to it, chassis looks to be about buggered, it could be welded to get through an MOT but I don't want to be doing it every year, exhaust, seals, gearbox needs attention, but for £1000 I couldn't refuse. I bought it to 'play' with off road but I'm tempted to work on it and get it up to standard, roughly what were your costs - not including the landy? I'm not classed as a mechanic but I'm not bad either, I've got lots of time on my hands.

I don't have a lot of spare time to be honest but i would do it again. It gives you a gerat sence of satisfaction..Sorry about the spelling but i is ****ed
