defender 300tdi wont cold start

hi

just wondering what you guys think i have got a 1996 defender 300tdi what will not cold start

(wont start in morning but will start fine for rest of the day

) just fitted new glow plugs but not solved problem (tested glow plugs so i know they work) there is no smoke when i am cranking the engine so i have been told to fit new fuel injectors does this sound like possible problem

Try tightening the leak off pipes on the 4 injectors,sounds like the fuel is running back overnight,a 300 in a Defender should start without the glows.

ok will try that as my leak off pipes have been replaced by a cowboy before i got it and it is has just got loose rubber tube repairs

My 110 had fuel draining back overnight and resultant problems starting in the mornings, lots of cranking to start - rest of day fine.

Fuel lift pump - No problems starting now.
