As some of you know my RR now lives in Bulgaria...The law requires headlights on at all times and I forget to turn them on at least once a day....
Is there any way to have the headlights come on when ignition is on regardless of switch position?
Cheers

Lol! No but he runs the Police who will take a chunk of Leva from me when I forget...
I dont quite get it as the last thing I worry about on the local roads is meeting another car in broad daylight with no headlights lit...

You can switch daytime running lamps on but not headlamps as far as i know.

That might do the trick.......so that would be like dipped beam or just sidelight sort of thing? Either way...how do I do it?
Thanks

Position lamps (side lamps) needed in Sweden and such places so it's switchable in BECM. Least i think it is. But you may have to get market changed to do it.

OK will look into it but needs to be on dipped beam here....guess I can rig up a buzzer to go off when lights arent on?

In affect you would need you lights on all the time day on night? Does it need to be head and tail or just head lights?
You could run a ignition on wire direct to the lamp units
Surly your not the only person with this problem so would have thought there be some after market relay type device available

Wammers is correct. Some markets enable the Daylight Running Lamps. Above 500 rpm the BeCM will activate the daylight running lamps regardless of the position of the lighting switch. When daylight running lamps are on and the lighting switch is off the BeCM does not activate the interior facia illumination. So you need to change the market for this feature.

Daylight running is indeed an option. This allows headlights, not full beam, headlights to be on once the key is in position 2.
This needs to be activated with diagnostics within the becm settings.

Thought it was just position lamps, but if dip is switchable looks like the OP is going to be happy. :);)

Hi just found a new tool on rswsolutions.com go to range rover p38a link it allows several settings to be adjusted it is a newer version of an EAS tool I have version 2 and it works great so this new version should solve your problem if you want to spend a bit money to sort it. Hope this helps

Now version III but it does little for $187.95 (£109.64) plus shipping. Does not do EMS Resyncs nor EKA code inputs. Bit of a limited toy really unless developed further. EASUNlock can be gotten off here for less than £20.00. :);)

I didnt say it was cheap or would do all sorts but by the looks of it it will sort HIS problem and that is what he is asking.

Finding someone with a Nanocom will also sort HIS problem maybe for the cost of a beer.

Will be buying a Nanocom. Not very thick on the ground in Bg but there is an identical car to mine in the local town...colour, spec, year the lot. Came from uk and now on Bg plates....
