I live about 40miles from the nearest motor way so thats not an issue, just wondering will the 3inch be too much, or save pennies but standard and make my own back box,,, hmmm

Now I see the crossmember in galv with dark green body, I am glad my new galv chassis is painted black (my hard top is red). You're right it doesn't look right, although my old IIA was left with the galvanized finish the body was cream coloured - didn't stand out.

Heated screen is the right thing to do.

yer it wont look right so might get the primer out tomorrow and spray it

yer well i broke my windscreen getting it out the rubber so havent got a choice now ha :)

waiting for pay day now to buy doors and get them painted so waiting game now :/

right thinking ahead to exhausts i love the sound of the straight through exhaust, was thinking of getting a 2.5 to 3inch expander and have a 3inch straight through exhaust, will that be abit extreme sound wise, will it be to free flowing and lose power thoughts???

Just went straight through on my 200tdi. Loud but nice, only do country lanes and bypasses so not an issue. Maybe its just me but seems faster!:D

Little bit of an update i suppose waiting for payday money, parts money time etc havent got time because im doing overtime and cant carry on till i have more money sooo ...

thanks :) should be sending off the rest of the panels start of next week. Going for series doors as simple, light, more room in the cab, mount some speakers in my home made door cards, easy to insulate. etc etc etc. and might be able to afford new wiring come pay day,

I'm doing a windscreen soon and as far as I can work out there is a start position top right (from inside the truck) and its a string in wind screen so seal round the windscreen string round the seal line it up and pull the string to seat the screen but it's a bloody tight fit! and if you havent done it before chances are you will struggle and possibly break the screen...

Hi been a while, things are going ok, ill post more pics later in the week, all the wiring's here all in place kinda. Few spare connectors im sure ill find a home for. I have a question, well i have all the wiring to convert the rear door to wash/wipe. What components will i need to do the job? All the wirings there etc just need wiper motor, drill few mounting holes? etc etc.

Front rear screen two terminal guessing ones getting the power and you earth the other terminal?

few boring wiring photos.....

For the rear wash/wipe are you fitting standard original parts or going freestyle? Personally I think the wiper mounted washer jet is a good improvement as the water cannot miss the glass.
