Getting mine done panel by panel incase I fancy a change in few months time , fit Windows in the back of truck cab even, at least I'll have paint covering all the edges. Rear tubs getting covered with flashing tape then plated on top so not fused about inside the tub

Hi what amp wire shall i use to wire up all the lights? headlights, brake lights etc etc
Also need to replace the blue wire going from my light switch as theres been a short and burnt the wire out cheers (Y)

i also have my rear tub and two sides back from paint put pics on tomorrow

oo and do i go the extra miles and buy defender doors or go for series, nice in the summer take the tops off :/ hmm

and middle exhaust hanger, brackets on the chassis i just need the pit that bolts on to hook onto the exhaust rubber??

andddddd just gonna get 16amp wire for all light wiring be more then enough?

200 tdi should be ntc8193 but if its still original pump

Go for series doors.
- they are cheaper
- less moving parts to go wrong
- they are lighter
- you can make door cards to mount speakers etc
- and you can take the windows off in the summer

Nice colour too!

hmm i am tempted for series doors but then you got the stupid little window all year round lol till you the door tops then someone seals your landrover while your in tesco lol hmmmmm
things coming together now, fitted the breather kit to the rear axle, rear brake pipes.

when the light hits the panels it looks completely different gold star to the man who guesses the colour, is landrover colour

I know what you mean, i am in the middle of my own build and have ran out of money, well it was like that from the start ha ha,

good set up tbh they sit parallel with the rock sliders so youll never catch the side of your landrover, (unless theres rots sticking out or what have you). Looks bad ass too

i need a part number please for the rubber underneath the wiper moter?
gotta wait for more bits till pay day when ill be buying heated front windscreen and all the window rubbers. hmm need someone to fit the windscreen lol

Looking on auto sparks for my new wiring loom,,, there is a section to add wiring for the rear and front windscreen with a relay. Are they up to the job? kits are like £60 but on there its £30 if brought with a loom. think ill be going for series doors because of money but afriad it might make the landrover look dated.

Also where can i get a little bit of t wash, looking on the net can only buy it in 5L.
only want enough to do the rear xmember so i can fix the rear tub, might just lightly sand with wire wool and eche prime. thoughts?

Ah fairy snuff. No I've never fitted a windscreen. For what it'd cost I'd just sub the job out to be honest.

Although I'm a clumsy oaf so not the sort of job for me. Rear quarter lights is enough for me.

right thinking ahead to exhausts i love the sound of the straight through exhaust, was thinking of getting a 2.5 to 3inch expander and have a 3inch straight through exhaust, will that be abit extreme sound wise, will it be to free flowing and lose power thoughts???

Strait though sounds nice, But can be loud on the motorway. Never really bothered me mind.
