NEW TO THIS FORUM.BUT GREAT TO SEE OTHER PEOPLE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH RANGEYS? BOUGHT MY LATEST RANGE ROVER 6 MONTHS AGO. MY 3RD ONE IN LAST 7 YEARS. LUV EM. BUT THE ONE I HAVE JUST GOT 2001 VOGUE 69000 MILES FULL HISTORY, 1 OWNER, BOUGHT FROM GARAGE, WITH 3 MONTHS WARRANTY. ABOUT 7 WEEKS AGO OUTSIDE LANE M40. 4 UP LOTS OF LIGHTS & ALARMS GO OFF. PUT THE S---S UP ME, AIR SUSPENSION FAILURE. £725 TO MEND. 3 WEEKS AGO ABS LIGHT KEPT COMING ON, HAD IT CHECKED ON COMPUTER, ECU UNIT KAPUT, £611. NOW THE F----NG RADIO HAS PACKED UP. WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS PROBALLY THE TRANSFORMER £500 I SAID NO WAY . I`LL GET A RADIO FROM HALFORDS. TOLD I COULD NOT BYPASS SYSTEM.AS IT WORKS SAT NAV AS WELL. SAT NAV WORKING, RADIO OUT HOPEFULLY CAN GET REPAIRED? LAST RANGEY OWNED 4 YEARS ONLY SPENT ABOUT £6-700 ALL THAT TIME. GARAGE WHO DOES MY REPAIRS SAID IT WAS IN GREAT NICK NOT MUCH MORE COULD GO WRONG?????? EXCEPT THE ENGINE???? HOPE THE F--K HE`S WRONG.
BUT HEY STILL LOVE THE BEAST WILL CARRY ON WITH IT AND ENJOY???:wtf:

witney near oxford, lived here for 30+ years. neighbour up the road a bit of a greeny, told me to buy something smaller to help the planet, told him to go forth & multiply. he broke down the other day and asked for a lift, so i suggested he caught the bus????

Which radio do you have fitted-is it the Clarion?-if so, have a look on here Range Rovers as I think there is a link to a specialist in Sheffield who does a full repair/service for around £100

keep on top of the maintainenc dave and things should be ok engine wise, also keep an eye out for any recalls that haven't been done on yr car and get in touch with LR if see if they can be done. autologic has a list of some recalls but if yr using a lr stealer then thay should have spotted them!!!
