@Doo

Looks like ur having too much fun there , lol

May i ask about the small sprayer , how have u found it please, any good ??

Many thks and keep up the good work buddy

I have one like that. Paint needs well thinning.

Many thks, just thought it would be perfect to spray my door handles

Daft question plse, how do u know the paint is thin enough , do u have to use something like a viscosity cup and time it takes for the paint to go through

Thks as always

That's ok. My mate has a LAUNCH Android code reader that can do everything except the EAS (I have software on my laptop for that).

I had to keep the battery connected to lock/unlock the car because there are some nuggets out there who think they are more entitled to my stuff than I am, even though I paid for it o_O

One thing that confused me was the low brake fluid warning  No doubt due to the many disconnections

Anyhoo, here's what I used for the heater box foam. It expands to 15mm, but in reality it went a lot higher, had to push the dash down so defo sealed.

The wiring for the LED and the other sensor was a right pain to poke through the wee round hole. Had a mate helping so he got that task...Cable tie helped too

My mate took down some cleany stuff (he has his own valeting business) and cleaned one of the seats and a couple of door cards. I bought the interior used and boy was it bad used (stupid people taking dawgs and coffee in their cars :mad::mad::mad:)

State of this cloth after one pass on the drivers door card :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

He said we need to touch up the worn parts.... Just as well I got one of these babies then

Resting today, still got the radio to re-doo and mess around with the wiring. I've run extra wires to the back of the centre cubby to install USB in the rear ashtray for rear passengers to charge their phones and such.

It's all coming along nicely.

Bit worried about doing the radius arm bushes

I got the full front & rear set :)

I'm planning replacing the bolts too, but I hear LR want a lot of cash for each bolt...£9 :confused:

Is there something special about the radius arm bolts? I can get bolts at the local bolt shop a lot cheaper, so what should I be getting??

If it's too thick it won't spray simple, you just get used to mixing it. Spray very fine coats and build up. I use mine for model making.

Just a thought mine is an old Badger with a suction cup, the top feed cup maybe a little easier to use and may not need as thin a paint.

Hi chaps, sorry for the late response....Been up to me eyes with the rebuild

I haven't actually used it yet so can't comment, but my paint is water based so just a case of adding drops of water to the mix/

Tell you what, I'll give a report when I get around to it though ;)

However, I am utterly devastated at the moment....

I'll share.

My neighbour is absolutely gorgeous and a fabulous neighbour, friend, mum, etc.

Her man on the other hand is a fucking cunt of the very worst sort :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I wont go into detail other than she's been treated like shit for a long time. Told her to bin him, he went to jail for crimes against her and "still" she stuck with him :( Recently, she got in touch and I went to visit. She broke down and spilled a lot of beans. I listened and said she needs to get rid... When my wife came home from work I urged her to visit our friend and after around 2hrs, finally persuaded her to go to womens aid.

:)

So, I was warned that because of my (our) part in it, the fucktard would likely damage my car  So I parked wifes car hard up against mine so the tit couldn't get near. Job done. He appeared at 03:00 and couldn't get in, couldn't get near my car so left...

Next day I went to move wife's car to gain access to mine. I place the switch pack & stereo touchscreen on the windscreen of her car (it was the only place I had...) moved her car and all was well, until I went to get out and somehow looked (touched) the wiper switch...

:(:(:(:(

Suffice to say, all these weeks of hard work down the pan pretty much as far as the radio is concerned. Smashed the edges and a couple of cracks on the screen itself so it's obvious.

Fucking French surrender monkey o_O

Stupid asshole ex boyfriend threatening twat, all his fault

Actually, all "my" fault for being an idiot :(

Anyway, I can fix it, but what a friggin upset after all my effort.

However, the HEVAC is working beautifully, although the cold isn't so cold anymore, so time to refill the AC  More expense o_O

Next is the passenger seat heating element repair followed by the radius arm bushes, all of them front & rear....what fun

....but that smashed screen :(

Any camera footage nearby? Neighbours see anything?

House contents insurance?

I have to pay the 1st £70 of any mobile type repair claim and the replacement part is £80 so not worthwhile.

I plugged in and it all worked beautifully, reverse camera, bluetooth phone connection and so on, but the damage is causing glitches such as the Radio 2 button on the screen is flickering as if I'm touching it, so it keeps going from BBCR2 to 89.6 and back, and each time it pauses....Very annoying

However, I unplugged the screen and am left with radio 2 at a set volume until I pay for a new screen

Other than that, she is back together at the front....apart from the glove box which is just mental.

I mean, who in their right mind put's a glove box together with a million screws and 300 bits of plastic? o_O

It's a Krypton Factor nightmare edition so I'm kinda stumped at the moment. AND it closed & opened 2x before it decided to not bother opening again no matter how I try pushing the button

A job for later.

Await my new ABS sensor and radius arm bolts from a chap called Calvin Bird. Absolute fabulous chap. Very quick postage and superbly packaged. He is extremely well priced for the parts and I am happy. It was he who supplied the new blend motors, radius arm bushes and something else I forget...

If you're looking for parts with next day delivery he's your man. Find him on the Range Rover P38 Forum on facebook. He's a trusted seller.

So today, I may be going with a friend to a venue to observe o_O Or I may be filling George with LPG and visiting another friend to get bits

It's all good :)
