P38A Dash lights quandary...

No light behind the the speedo lcd and hevac lcd. I've eliminated nearly everything, checked the wiring, had the becm tested, changed the bulbs.

The only thing I can find is that the wiper stalk dimmer has no effect in either direction on amy lights on the dash, so maybe this is broken and it's locked to the lowest level of light?

Is this common? I'm going to take the stalk apart and check for corrosion next.

Panel dimming is a function of the BECM. Only thing the dimmer switch does dependent on which way it is pushed is ground one of two circuits. One increases brightness, one deceases it. If you have done what you say then ground on stalk switch is a possibility.
