D3 handbrake not functional error message

Hello all 2008 disco 3 2.7 tdv6 handbrake stuck on have since manually released it stripped all parts cleaned regreased put back together. Check e.p.b module & rewound & relatched cables. Now nothing when turn ignition on it says handbrake fault. When you press button it says handbrake system not functioning. Any help would be so appreciated.

have u also checked ur belts and oil pump cover has been done, very important if u wasn’t aware
