Disco 2 D2 wipers

Evening all, after a bit of help. I’m on holiday (with limited tools) and the wipers on my 2003 D2 packed up during a downpour.

I can hear the relay clicking when it’s on intermittent mode but apart from that nothing. Wash works but no wipe at all.

Any ideas?

Where are you. There could be a member nearby willing to offer some help

Try on fast mode cos then the motor is directly connected to the switch so if it doesnt work that way and the fuse(F19 interior fusebox) is OK then the motor is most likely dead unless it's a wiring, stalk or fusebox issue... some troubleshooting is needed

Thanks. The wipers have never worked when you push the stalk down, I’ve always had to put it on fast or one of the other programs. I can hear relay clicking when I the timed intermittent (sorry no idea what these programs are callled).

everything working as normal yesterday, not what you want when you’re towing a caravan in the rain

I say again, on fast no relay is involved, only the fuse, switch and motor so if no activity on fast and the fuse is oK most probably the motor is dead
