Wish is an app where one can order tons of Chinese waste, some good stuf is there but beware.

ali express is a website, takes longer time now to ship items on both of em now due to covid stress. But cheap :)

PS I am not actually sure, and its damn expensive that part I mentioned. I was mainly only interested in the voltmeter :D
 
You will find the voltmeter wont give you actual v at the battery. Im assuming this is due to a voltage drop between battery and the fuse board. Kind of like the longer an extension cable, the lower the volts by the time you get to the other end. Resistance?
Anyway, i bought something similar on ebay for a few quid and it worked fine. Apart from the issue above. But it does tell you if the alternator is charging and you can see when the battery is good or bad.
 
Thanks, yep that's exactly what I was after, just something to alert me if the alternator stops charging. I suppose it's all relative so a slight drop when charging and not charging would do the job just the same. Do you have a link to any you can recommend? thanks again
 
The TuffRok USB/voltmeter is a great idea but for 40 quid it should look more polished and nicer looking. You can tell it's a 3D printed casing.
