The only other thing I can think off is the transfer box output bearings. STC1130.
If they were worn i'd expect the play in them to be obvious and they'd probably cause the transfer box to weep oil through the output seals.

Just a thought but is it in difflock on the transfer box, You probably dont have the option of it in the car,but someone previous may have done it with a spanner from underneath.

thanks jamesmartin and all, this is good site :) in about 5hours i´m going to buy it :car:

It's highly unlikely as James said to be the DM flywheel - sounds more transmission related or wheel balance.

The most obvious place to start would be props and their U/J's plus the rubber doughnut on the rear prop.

-the difflock light isnt on, and i can spin the wheel on back without front rotating.
-wheels are balanced, i´v tryed 2 sets, no change. new pigots on other set.
-transmission is very silent, no noise at all. or transrefbox.

how the DM will act when faulty, and how cv joint will act as faulty.

strange that it does in straight road when i accelerate just a 1mm in pedal or hit it floor on uphill, or when i´m speeding 120km/h then it´s very bad. the car vibrates a LOT! and the freguency is very sharp.

dual mass usually shows up with a clatter on tickover ,but its not impossible it isnt your problem ,cv normally worse when in full lock, i would try removing one prop at a time and running in diff lock ,

cup of tee ;) hehe. so i just came home and way on home tested this: vibraton is the most worst in 110-125km/h an so on to 130-145km/h i bearly can feel it if i compare lower speeds. it sort of rumbles... i noticed that my hole dashboard is vibrating. i think that something is very much unbalanced in that speed. i tested to change in neutral on that speed and it make no change at all.

it is something related to speed and torgue in lower speeds, do i have wrong sparetyre pressure? no seriously: i´m losing my mind of this :(

hello again, can someone tell me does the doublejoint propshaft (or what it is called?) need to be arrows aligned? if so, the front prop isnt phased anymore. how it is in your disco 2? i bought today a second new frontprop and isnt phased and my second new isnt phased also. but why the ARROWS? should it be pointing in another?

hello

there should be no movement up, down, left or right.

there also should be no twist movement. you say that your boot moves before your cv moves so you obviously have twist movement.

however if the shaft does not move up, down, left or right in the cv then it probably will not vibrate...

i bought 2 db cardans and they came "not phaset" and i searched and searched, but then i found this: those have align marks on both end. i just put the arrows against and the 120km/h vibration is gone for now. onlu the accelerating vibrate is now on. and noticed it isnt related on speed.

NOISY: thats what i meant. those twist aprox 2mm, but not upward or downwards.

i tested this way: disassembled the front cardan and tried the flange to turn, then i noticeed that only the gaitors moved but not cv on the hub. and that was ap. 2mm
