Disco 2 D2 Headlights Motor

Search function not working again today!

My nearside headlight is constantly doing something, not sure what. If I adjust the headlight position via the switch I can hear a whirring noise, then this constant noise like a motor. Assuming it is the motor, are these repairable/replaceable or is it a new unit? Headlight is PN XBC000811 - and not available anywhere by the looks of it!

Mine was fupard when I got it and I picked up another from e-bay.
It did do a fair bit of whirring when I put the new (second hand) one on but works fine now.
Not serviceable as far as I remember but you can get it out easy enough to check what it is doing.
The issue, if the motor works could be the plastic clips that hold everything in place. They snap easy and it may be that is all your problem is.
You can get the clips on e-bay too.

AFAIK the facelifts are not repairable
