So set off the other morning in torrential rain, never knew we had a Monsoon season in the UK... Anyway, wipers got slower & then stopped. Not good. Eventually got home & had a quick look. Pulled wipers off windscreen & motor ran. About 15Min later it stopped so think its a fair guess that the motor could do with a swap. Looks like the stuff of nightmares & bed wetting to me!. Anyone done one & can point me in the right direction please? Is there a decent service manual download available for the Ouma anywhere?.
Many thanks all!

Often an issue with Landy's [ of all years ] with wipers is the spindle shaft that goes through the bulkhead/door getting dry/corroded and partially seizing giving the symptoms you have and likely blowing the fuse. Some lube down the spindle and wiggling can get them going again. Have a feel of the wiper arm with blade off screen, should be some free play an be easy to move.

Thanks Tottot, with both blades off the screen the play in the cable shows up & is easy to move. Will give the spindles some thin oil & see what happens.

Where as the previous models wiper motor was easy to get at, not so with Puma. It may be an idea to look at the wiper switch as burnt contacts can cause issues.

Puma wiper motor does look to be a bit of a chore.. Took the wiper blades & arms off & turned the wipers on. they were suggish to wake up tyhen went ok for a while. At the same time i was adding some thin oil to the spindles. Then they got progressively slower & once again, stopped. In the few mins it seemed to be working ok, the intermitant, slow & fast speeds seemed ok. Just did a quick bit of research & looks like the entire dash has to come out?.
