D2 Climate Control blower output control

Hi all,
Apologies if I’ve missed it but I can’t see this issue on here. I have a 2004 D2 TD5 ES with aircon. I have an issue where no matter where I want the air to come from it only comes from the windscreen. As I get demist I have been a bit lazy but now want to fix before next summer. Apart from bulbs in the unit gone I can’t see an issue so is it the unit, mechanical or connection?

Has the clear screen button been pressed ?

Yes but when deactivated and for example econ footwell or auto facia it makes no odds to direction. I can get heat and cold but just via windscreen.

Run a manual diagnostic check on it to rule out the distribution servomotor circuit... though if the flap is stuck there will be no code
