Hi all, this is my first post and I am hoping that one of you can solve my brake problem.
Last year bought a 2001 manual Discovery 2 td5 as a project.
Fitted new discs, calipers, lines and flexible hoses, and trw master cylinder, New hubs and Cv joints.
I've used about 10 litres of brake fluid trying to bleed the system to no avail. I've used a Hawkeye to bleed it and done it manually and every time the pedal goes to the floor. If I scroll through the Hawkeye and force the rear left inlet valve on, the pedal works as it should. I've also tried a different modulator and exactly the same results returned.
I bought the disco as it had failed the mot due to leaky rear brake lines, and the owner wanted it gone. I offered her £100 and she accepted.
Any ideas to what the problem could be, or what I'm doing wrong would be much appreciated as it's driving me nuts?
Andy

Would be wrong for me to comment as I have a difefrent model

No Ace, but it has the ace box under underside passenger seat.

Apologises , that’s part of the suspension , see I knew not to comment, lmao

The more experienced guys who have expert knowledge will indeed guide u

Sorry about that , doh ;)

I see, I'll try tomorrow.
Thing is it feels like air, the pedal goes to the floor and when you pump again you get half a pedal, but I will adjust servo rod tomorrow.
Thanks
