bloody hell that was awkward!fitted a new clutch on 1.8 freelander this week also the clutch actuating arm had seized solid and was a **** to get out and remove rust and re grease.lying on my back under car for hours in the wet outside...what a joy, anyway i saved myself £500 but next time if i do one i will take engine out it will be easier as most of the bolts are quite hard to get to...not a technical job but just awkward, anyway thats the head gasket and clutch done...what next?...vcu?wheres me spanners.still love it though like an evil stepchild mark

You sound like the kind of person who should own a Land Rover.

I'm not sure how people can own a land rover without owning atleast basic tools and knowlege!
