DBL landrovers. I have been using them for many years, very reliable, do a good job, not rip off merchants.

I've used DBL for many years, mainly for parts, but also some service work on a Defender. Dave, and his small team, are professional, knowledgeable and above all very freindly. He has been doing this in one form or another for many many years. I've seen all sorts in his workshop, from series ones to modern Rangies.
And before you all start this spam nonsense on me, I don't work there.
The OP asked for an opinion, so I have given it.

I have heard of them. Aren't they the people that give you free spam fritters with ever job done????

Thread revival! I use dbl and have just got the p38 back, they're a good bunch and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. And no I don't work for them or have any affiliation at all, am a regular as I drive a p38!!!!!

I bought a p38 from them once and it broke down...
Haaaaa haaaahaaaaa

Seriously though, nice guys, standard indy prices, good location not a million miles from m5 or Bristol.
Recommend - yes.
If you have a p38 you had better learn to fix it yourself or sell your house and rent out your wife.
