he aint got none up at the mo, but you should have gone to "egrman777", now this is the proper job:D, it fits perfectly, is the right gauge of material(instead of monkey metal:doh:), and is even coated to last, if you read the "tuning diesals" website, you'll see the one(the two blokes are linked), admittedly its about £50, but like i said "proper job":D

i bought one of those monkey metal bypasses myself years back for a previous freelander i had, and the the fit was just a crock of ****, i had to make it fit:doh:, the bit that blocks the egr link pipe was the worst bit, it was too thick and in slightly the wrong position:doh:

its up to you, but if it was me id see about reversing the ebay sale, and wait and get the right part:eek:

Guys, I read on here that the black one as above was the best hence the purchase and also there was a link as well.

Will try to find it but they guy has no negative feedback and a 100% good dealings on Ebay, if he or the part was that bad I suppose other would of complained.

open your eyes:doh:, there not the same, the first one you've linked is the one im talkin about along with everybody else, the last link you posted is the one you've bought, i think you've got confused where it says "black one"

no, the only thing may not be the material used:doh:, if you look closely at the picture you can see the "quality" or lack off between all the difrent bypasses, firstly theres the thickness off material used, then just as importantly is the way the whole thing is welded together, as ive said already i bought one one many years ago, and the whole thing just fitted so badly, the bolt holes just didnt line up,the egr "block off" stub, was just too thick and in the wrong position, by quite a bit, and you end up having to "make" it fit:doh:, then theres the coating, ok, the stainless one is what it is, but the one you've bought just looks like someones dowsed it with a tin of nacker lacker in the garden shed:eek:, so by which in a couple of months time after gettin hot day in day out, its just gonna start peeling and cracking, and thats just the paint, you've then gotta hope the welds hold or worse still the metal can take it:eek:

i dont know about you, but id rather fit something and "forget it" and know that its right:D

now at the end of the day, the bypass you've bought may fit staright away without any probs, but its that old sayin "you pays your money, you takes your choice"

your better off mate, the proper black one, will cost a little bit more, but you'll have no problems:D, the first link you posted a couple of messages ago, gives you all the "right" info,(read it!) "tuning diesals" know there onions, ive dealt with them quite a few times now over the months for various things and as you will find on here, there reputation proceeds them:D

cant speak for the stainless one, although looks better than your first choice, but someone may be along in a bit to give you there opinion

do a search on ebay for seller "egrman777", and send him a message, see if he's got any ready yet, its the "black one" pictured on the tuning diesals website

If thats the same chap his old account looks ok so why change usernames, unless there was others involved and he's gone his own way.

as regards "tuning diesals" and every one envolved with it there has been a few changes, joining forces with tuning companies etc,(all for the good), from what i can gather, basically if you read the pages on there website, it tells you all about them, there a small company with a massive reputation, and i can only think that the changes that it tells you about on the website etc, may have something to do with it:)

either way, its all good:D, like i said before read the web pages/site, you'll see for yourself

Yer you want the one from dansam0502 !

I brought one from katezet ( now bestpartskz ) that sells the stainless steel one , Mine was just a painted steel one and holes did not line up the exhaust blank pipe was in wrong place .
I still have it as gave up trying to fit it and have now just block the vac pipe with the pipe and peg mod .

Just look at the thickness of the part that bolts to manifold the proper one is 8mm thick ( as orignal ) the s/s one is 4mm thick so most likely bend when bolted on letting air get in
