what they mean to say is ooooo s**t we f****d up we can't build that piece of crap we designed so we will drag it out as long as we can 2017 (cough) an then 2 years after that an eerrrr 2 years after that an then have a massive Cort battle after that against EU regulations

fookin ell , I am not a fender man but that new one looks like the child of a new mini and gaylander!

no one who buys defenders will buy that surely?

the whole point was that they always looked like landys right?

if you want that other ****e you would get a gaylander or evoque right?

I's like to see it carry on for as long as possible, even if the numbers that it sells in are completely uneconomic. I would expect it'll be selling at a mere trickle come 2015-2017.

However, for buyers of "other ****e...gaylanders" [sic] like me, it's great to see one in the showroom when we sign the order for our new cars. You know the ones, they're the ones that currently keep the company in business and thousands of UK workers in manufacturing jobs, right?!

most of you and landrover apear to be forgetting that the current defender is a commercial vehicle ....the sales to the "man in the street" are miniscule its market is businesses and government departments that need an off road load or people carrier.... those volume customers will never buy a plastic gaylander clone .

Hey, I thought that you had to be a trattor boy to be that ignorant! :p :D And, while I'm at it, I'm guessing that you've never driven a properly quick Supercharged R53 Cooper S either...
