Bought my first Range Rover ('97 4.6HSE) last week and decided to take it for a run from Windsor to Dumfries. In general it performed rather well. Got me there and back with no obvious hicups. I did notice two issues however - heated seats do not appear to work - something to check next weekend, but more importantly I could not figure out how to get the cruise control to work. I pushed the swich on the dash which lights up but the buttons on the steering wheel have lost all their markings so I can't tell what is what. I have eliminated evrything that messes with the radio which leaves just two at the bootom of the steering wheel. Can someone let me know what they are? By the way neither of them made the CC operate so likely there is a fault somewhere as well.

the left it set ( this engages and increses) the right is res ( this takes it off/re engages at last set speed)

check the vac pump and the pipes, they are in the engine bay close to bulkhead on pass side. there is also the cc bellows in that area attached to a cable to the throttle body!
