That's not the exhaust downpipe, it's a modified centre section without the silencer - sometimes referred to as a "straight-thru" or sports centre section.

However, I thought you started out by asking about a de-cat pipe??? The cat is in the exhaust downpipe which is L-shaped, not the one you have pictured.

PS @ MHM - he's got the right centre straight-thru for a TDi 300 but I reckon he's misunderstood where the cat - when fitted - lives.

ps@TBL - that was on ebay as a D2 system.

I've no doubt it was mate, it's just that if you look at the pipe that's in SpiritMR's picture it's not the same as in your post.

Noprobs - we still agree it aint the correct pipe

Did order another one. But the bloke said it was out of stock. So sent this one, instead of having to wait until next year for another.

Also i do know where the cat lives.
Mechanics is my thing not electrical.

yup - its about a third the price of the disco one. a bit more fiddly to fit (no flexi) but does the job as well.

I'm out of work now.
So have no money to buy a new one.
Will just have to wait until i find another job. And have the cash for a proper one.

So anybody want a what ever the hell this it. Only cost £40.
