About to fit a transfer box , which is in good order but has a non drilled input shaft.. does a drilled input shaft , really make all the difference, and prolong the life ???
cross drilled input gear...

depends how good gear box splines are ,but it takes years to wear badly if both are good a lot less if one or both have some wear
