Hi to everybody
i will like to ask if i need a wedge to put back the crankshaft pulley of my freelander td4 Sport 2004 m47r bmw engine as i see some marks but the new crankshaft came without a wedge any help needed THANKS

If you mean do you need a woodruff key in the new crankshaft then yes you do.

If you still have the old crank you should be able to carefully knock/prise out the old key and reuse it.

if you had to even ask the question perhaps you shouldn't be fitting a new crank! hope you have fitted new shells, thrusts and have used plenty of new clean oil, and cleanliness is paramount to godliness when fitting it all back.
