Having only had my disco for 3 weeks im a little unsure of a few things. What I have noticed is that the courtesy lights no longer come on when I open any of the doors but are ok on the local buttons. they did work a couple of weeks ago until my battery went flat and I pulled a few fuses looking for a drain. Should these lights come on when I unlock/lock with my fob? im sure it did when I first got it home but could be mistaken. I had a quick look around the drivers door while I still had some day light and couldn't see the usual push switch, which is usually the problem with issues like this so I am wondering if it is somehow inside the door.
Any thoughts appreciated.

If it lights up around your ignition switch on the steering column when opening doors or unlocking car then the BCU is sending a signal out ok but youmay have a broken wire to the courtesy lights. There is a thread on this somewhere here on Landyzone

I had same problem with mine......Turned out to be corrosion at the connector block behind the passenger side kick panel in footwell. Disconnected it, cleaned it up and sprayed some contact cleaner in around the two plugs. All is well now.....:D

They must come on when you unlock with fob or if you open the door... as stated before they are managed by the BCU ...D2 doesnt have those push switches, the switches are incorporated in the door latch actuators... try from the switch which is on the front lamp...if it works from the switch we'll speak then

My interior lights come on/off with unlocking/locking,remote or key.
But no light ring around ignition swith-is there a bulb that can be changed?

I have the lights at to the middle switch and they come on when I select ON. The light around the ignition comes on so I'm guessing it's a loose or corroded connector somewhere.

same on mine. it was a purple wire that was causeing the problem irc

Lights work when ON but will not work when on middle switch when doors open or fob pressed. The light by the ignition comes on when door is opened. No warning sound when I open door with lights on. It worked a week ago but I have pulled a few fuses since then looking for a drain. But didn't think it would have made a difference. Will look for this block in passengers kickwell when I get home.

Is this passanger side footwell a normal removable panel like the one on drivers side for fuses etc. cos I cant find one. Or is it removed with a screwdriver etc?
