Just watched it on iPlayer, (skip to about 17 minutes). The thing that ****ed me off most was that posh tart with the byway and "60+" bikers going right past her house every day, blatantly making up those stories! About the toddler whose life flashed before her eyes and the woman who managed to get impaled on a barbed wire fence! They're called accidents!

As for the daft woman who was talking about the family who will 'never' return to the country, yes it was a bad experience, but tbh if that stops you coming to the country then you need to stay in the city for everyone's benefit.

Lol, I agree, yeah as you say, not a nice experience for the little girl:(
But as for never visiting the countryside ever again! fekking EEjit:doh:

Basically there are some cnuts on the road and these cnuts are getting 4x4's or Bikes and being cnuts there to:mad:

Yeah she was a ****, she had no earlobes either:lol:

People don't realise these are ROADS. There are about 1 in 20 people driving on main roads without insurance and that rises to 1 in 3 or 4 in poor/crime riddled areas. Should we ban people from driving on roads because of that?

Just watched.
I think Countryfile should have made the destinction between 'green laning' and 'off roading' clearer.
I thought the chaps, one from the biker-trailers association and the other wanting to ban all of it totally (probably a Daily "oh my god the country is turning to rat ****" Mail newspaper reader) both had some points to be made.
Yes, the guy interviewed doing the off roading in the farmers field did sound a little thick, but you meet all types doing many pastimes/ hobbies.....part of the attraction to doing it really.
I've done a little green-laning, but for me I couldn't beat the thrill of off-roading at a 'pay and play' site, as I've recently found.

Generally, I think the Countryfile piece was poorly edited, and badly researched. I'll have to remember to start watching it again, just in case there is a piece in the near future to redress issues raised, as there often is on the programme.

Good point. The article had nothing to do with pay and play so it shouldn't have been in there at all. It was like "people drive down green lanes now lets look at what damage they could do if they wanted to". It's the same principle as saying "look at what happens if you run someone over so let's ban cars because of the tiny minority that actually do run someone over".

I agree with me. All vehicles should be banned from the road, then we can try out turbo driven skateboards and any other mad thing Johnny C can come up with.

It would also help the environment if we drove as the crow flys...no wasted fuel going the long way.

Women should not be given the vote in my lifetime.

As relevant and factual as ever Storm, keep it up mate :D

Yeah right as khaos says why show the pay and play bit?
Ill tell ya why cause the image 's they were getting from the the lads in the field, was the impression they wanted to portray of how people in 4x4's behave when off road.
So lobeless freaks like that dr fekface or whatever she was called could 'live in fear' under her copy of the mail, waking up in the middle of the night in cold sweats from a dream where a lumbering yokel, with a hi vis jacket on, in a powder blue (sorry storm) defender pickup, wheel spins in a ditch!
