Right I have just bought a set of Cooper ST Maxx tyres, haven't had them fitted yet, hopefully tomorrow. Has anyone else opted for these tyres? Good, bad or just plain ugly?

Absolutely useless. No good for mud - hopeless on the road. Can't be worth more than a tenner (£25 with the wheels and spacers). Don't worry, I'm sure someone on here will take them off your hands for £30 if you pay the postage.

They should last longer . Cooper has IMO a better rubber compound. I get about 50=60k miles on mineI got them on my 90. Only used them for a greenlane trip so far, and hardly broke traction in the slippy stuff. Can't fault them on road either, so I hope they last nearly as long as the my old BFG A/Ts (I know they probably wont last AS long, but hopefully not wear out fast).
