Right I have just bought a set of Cooper ST Maxx tyres, haven't had them fitted yet, hopefully tomorrow. Has anyone else opted for these tyres? Good, bad or just plain ugly?

Had them fitted today along with some 30mm spacers to help the turning circle, I think they look the mutts nuts, I just hope they perform as well. I changed from 235/85/16 to 265/75/16, with the spacers and extra width, they certainly fill the arches better and have a more aggressive look which I was hoping for.

Absolutely useless. No good for mud - hopeless on the road. Can't be worth more than a tenner (£25 with the wheels and spacers). Don't worry, I'm sure someone on here will take them off your hands for £30 if you pay the postage. :D:D

All enquiries via PM to Mud-4-it. ;);)

Cheers Tazz, I'll stick em on eBay.

I got them on my 90. Only used them for a greenlane trip so far, and hardly broke traction in the slippy stuff. Can't fault them on road either, so I hope they last nearly as long as the my old BFG A/Ts (I know they probably wont last AS long, but hopefully not wear out fast).

They should last longer . Cooper has IMO a better rubber compound. I get about 50=60k miles on mine

i like the look of them, i've been running the stt for a year now (18K) and they are still chunky, (prob change next winter as i live at the top of a big hill in Wales that gets lots of snow/ice, but they'll still be legal i recon) would have gone for the old st but they had stoped making them at the time. how are you finding them?

I've had them on for a few months and I'm a happy bunny with them in all conditions upto now, however i do need to get them dirtier lol :)
