If the colour difference related to the wiring connection then there shouldn't be an issue. As long as they fit correctly and are okay for use on your model then no problem.As title says really am changing the coolant temp sensors as i think they are faulty. My freelander 1 has a brown and blue plugs but my spares ones are blue and black and are from an mk2 mg zr could i still use them without any problem?? heres a pic

well i would of thought it would be ok to use as the freelander is the 1.8 k series engine and the newer one is from a k series engine but thought i would check to make sure before i fit them to the landy
