Considering turning the disco into a pick up, but not leaving anything from the disco behind the front seats, that bit is easy enough, chop everything away and fabricate a bulkhead.

Is the 110 tub a similar width to the disco body? Could that just be bolted on behind the bulkhead?

(Wouldn't happen till next summer so plenty of time to think things through first)

I read about someone doing it in an old lro magazine. I have it somewhere. I think the tub had to be widened to suit the discovery body. However that was using a 90 tub. A hi cap tub might be a close to perfect width.

You'll have to extend the chassis for a 110 tub and obviously a 110 rear crossmember. But I'm only going by what was said in the magazine article. If you want I can find out what issue of lro it was
 
Keep updating this thread with anything you do with this project as I'd be really interested to know how you get on with it!
May consider doing it with my Disco to make it more work related.
