Noticed that the oil pressure warning light was not coming on when I turned the key before the engine was started, found the connector to the oil pressure switch was damaged and not connected.
I have secured it in place with cable ties but was after a replacement connector , does anyone know a part number or compatible type connector I can replace the damaged connector with.
Thanks Paul

The correct connector (2-way sealed Junior Power Timer), from Land Rover, is part number YPC107830 -

However, this is only the connector housing, terminals and seals are not supplied, and aren't available from Land Rover, except as (very expensive) 'repair wires' which have the terminals and seals pre-crimped to short lengths of wire, supplied in packs of 10 wires -

The seals are common to the whole JPT range, but the terminals for this connector are shorter than the ones commonly available.

I have the short terminals (and seals) to fit this particular connector.

However, the commonly available 2-way JPT connector (with its longer terminals) will also fit this sender -

These are available from -

http://www.polevolt.co.uk/acatalog/Junior_Power_Timer_Connectors.html - Ref: 20910

https://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product/680/category/7 - Ref: 051501

All of the above, sell terminals and seals separately from the connector housing.

You will require -

1 x Terminal for 0.5 - 1.0mm² cable -

1 x Blue wire seal for 0.5 - 1.0mm² cable -

1 x Cavity plug for the unused 'way' on the connector -

I don't have a TD5 or need the connector, but must compliment you on a comprehensive response :)
