halfruads used to do tipex type pots of heated screen paint. Dunno if they still do but it might be worth a look.

You can solder them, VERY carefully with a large plumbers soldering iron. Like I said though, extremely carefully as you can risk cracking the screen, but with care I have seen it done - my fathers old Mk1 Fiesta worked a treat after that.
